However, on the way, we passed the shale bed . Here was a chance to look for more fossils. One can never pass up an opportunity for that possible great find. Perhaps a perfect trilobite? Our first find was quite the surprise. This beautiful litle ring neck Nature is amazing. Look how well these snakes blend in with their suroundings. Nothing extroadinary or perfect today but we did not go home empty handed. We found snakes, fossils and fun.
